Ingredients/Components
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- chopped nuts - 3/4 c
- cornstarch - 2 Tbsp
- nutmeg - 1/2 tsp
- sticks margarine - 2 item
- can crushed pineapple - 1 item
- lemon juice - 2 tsp
- yellow cake mix - 1 pkg
- sliced raw raw apples - 2 c
How to make dump cake:
Dump pineapple and juice in large Pyrex dish (9 x 13-inches). Mix apples with lemon juice, cornstarch, cinnamon and nutmeg. Spread over pineapple. Sprinkle dry cake mix over top. Sprinkle with nuts. Slice margarine or butter in thin pats and cover entire pan. Bake 1 hour at 350°. Serve warm, with whipped cream, if desired. (May be made day before and heated.)
