Double chocolate crumble bars
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3/4 c
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour - 3/4 c
- butter - 1/2 c
- baking powder - 1/4 tsp
- chocolate chips - 1 c
- Rice Krispies
- unsweetened cocoa - 2 Tbsp
- creamy peanut butter - 1 c
- mini marshmallows
- chopped pecans optional - 1/2 c
How to make double chocolate crumble bars:
Topping:2 c. mini marshmallows1 c. chocolate chips1 c. creamy peanut butter1 1/2 c. Rice Krispies Cream butter and sugar. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Set aside. Stir together flour, nuts, cocoa, baking powder and salt; stir into egg mixture. Spread in bottom of greased 13 x 9-inch pan. Bake at 350° for 15 to 20 minutes or until bars test done. Sprinkle marshmallows evenly on top. Bake 3 minutes more. Cool.In small saucepan, combine chocolate chips and peanut butter; cook and stir over low heat until chocolate is melted. Stir in cereal. Spread mixture on top of cooled bars. Chill. Cut in bars. Refrigerate.
