Chocolate marshmallow bars
Ingredients/Components
- butter - 3/4 c
- sugar
- eggs - 3 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- flour
- baking powder - 1/2 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- baking cocoa - 3 Tbsp
- chopped nuts optional - 1/2 c
- mini marshmallows - 4 c
- chocolate chips
- peanut butter - 1 c
- Rice Krispies - 2 c
How to make chocolate marshmallow bars:
Topping:1 1/3 c. chocolate chips3 Tbsp. butter1 c. peanut butter2 c. Rice Krispies Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla; beat until fluffy. Combine flour, baking powder, salt and cocoa. Add to creamed mixture. Stir in nuts. Spread in greased baking pan. Bake at 350° for 15 to 18 minutes. Sprinkle marshmallows over cake. Return to oven for 2 to 3 minutes. Using a knife dipped in water, spread the melted marshmallows evenly over cake and cool.Combine chocolate chips, butter and peanut butter in saucepan. Cook over low heat, stirring until melted and blended. Remove from heat and stir in cereal. Spread over bars and chill.
