Ingredients/Components
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1 c
- flour
- brown sugar - 1 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- melted butter - 3 tsp
- boiling water
- shredded coconut - 1 c
- white sugar - 1 c
- quick-cooking oats - 1 c
- egg, beaten - 1 item
- stick margarine or butter - 1 item
- Add boiling water
How to make disappearing cake:
Mix all ingredients, excluding water, in a large mixing bowl. Add boiling water. Pour into a 13 x 9-inch pan and bake for 30 minutes at 350°. Frost.Frosting:1 c. brown sugar1 egg, beaten1 c. shredded coconut3 tsp. melted butter1 c. chopped nuts Mix and spread on warm cake.
