Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 1 c
• vanilla - 1 tsp
• milk - 1 c
• salt - 1/2 tsp
• soda - 1/2 tsp
• cocoa - 1/2 c
• egg - 1 item
• Crisco - 1/2 c
• flour plain - 2 c
• Bake at 425° for 5 to 7 minutes

How to make devil dogs:

Drop by heaping spoonfuls 2-inches apart on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 425° for 5 to 7 minutes.Cream Filling:1/3 c. canned cream1/2 c. sugar1 tsp. vanilla1/2 c. Crisco1/4 tsp. salt Beat together 5 minutes or more. Spread between 2 cookies.
