- sugar - 2 c
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 2 tsp
- milk - 1 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- butter
- cocoa - 3/4 c
- confectioners sugar
- baking powder
- baking soda
- vegetable oil - 1/2 c
- boiling water - 1 c
- all-purpose flour
How to make dark chocolate cake:
Frosting:6 Tbsp. butter3/4 c. cocoa2 2/3 c. confectioners sugar1/3 c. milk1 tsp. vanilla Heat oven to 350°. Grease and flour 2 round 9-inch pans. In large mixer bowl combine dry ingredients. Add eggs, milk, oil and vanilla. Beat on medium speed 2 minutes. Remove from mixer; stir in boiling water. Pour into prepared pan. Bake 30 to 35 minutes. Cool cake in pan 10 minutes. Cool thoroughly before icing.Frosting: Cream butter. Add cocoa and confectioners sugar alternately with milk. Blend in vanilla.
