  • sugar - 9 lb
  • water - 3 gal
  • raisins - 3 lb
  • yeast cakes - 2 item
  • flowers - 2 qt

How to make dandelion wine:

Put sugar and water together and boil. Pour over blossoms while hot. When cool, add yeast cakes. Put all in a big crock, if available. Let stand for 9 (nine) days, stirring every morning.

Stain the contents of the crock and put liquid back. Chop raisins and add to liquid. Put in keg for 6 months. Taste after 2 months. It may be ready. If so, put it in bottles.

To make Elderberry wine, follow the directions but add 3 oranges.
