Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- brown sugar - 2 c
- butter - 1/2 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- buttermilk - 1 c
- nuts - 1 c
How to make crumb cake:
To make crumbs, mix flour, butter and sugar. Cut with two knives until blended. Add nuts. Take out 1 cup of crumbs and set aside. Then mix crumbs with balance of ingredients. Do not beat until smooth. Leave batter lumpy. Pour into a loaf pan and sprinkle a cup of crumbs on top. Bake at 350°.Recipe categories: Egg, Breads, Coffee cakes.
