Ingredients/Components

  • sour cream - 8 oz
  • stick margarine - 1 item
  • potatoes - 5 lb
  • softened cream cheese - 8 oz
  • chives - 1/4 c

How to make creamy potatoes:

Peel and boil potatoes until tender; drain and mash. Add sour cream, cream cheese, margarine and chives. Blend thoroughly with mixer. Place in a baking dish and garnish as desired with paprika or more chives. Bake for 30 minutes at 325°. May be made ahead of time and not baked until 30 minutes before serving.
