Creamy chocolate frosting
Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- vanilla flavoring - 1 tsp
- evaporated milk - 1 c
- cocoa - 1/2 c
How to make creamy chocolate frosting:
Mix sugar and cocoa in saucepan. Add milk. Cook over moderate heat, stirring constantly until it begins to boil. Boil for 3 minutes, or until a teaspoonful will form a soft ball in cold water. Add vanilla. Cool; beat until thick and creamy. Spread on cake. This is enough for 3 layers.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Cake fillings and frostings.
