Ingredients/Components
- flour - 1/4 c
- cream - 4 Tbsp
- cheese - 1/2 lb
- salt and pepper - 1 item
- can peas - 1 item
How to make creamed peas:
Drain juice from peas into pan. Mix flour with a little water to make a smooth, thin paste. Thicken pea juice with flour mixture. Cook about 3 or 4 minutes. Pour in peas. Add sliced or cubed cheese, according to taste. Just before serving, add cream and a little salt and pepper; possibly a little butter.Recipe categories: Low sodium, Side dish, Vegetables.
