Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1 c
- salt - 3/4 tsp
- flour - 1/4 c
- chicken broth - 1 c
- chopped green pepper - 1 Tbsp
- diced cooked chicken - 2 c
- chicken fat, butter or margarine - 3 Tbsp
How to make creamed chicken:
Heat fat and cook pepper until tender. Blend the flour into fat. Blend in broth and milk. Stir in the chicken and cook to a smooth sauce. Stir. Serve on cooked rice, toast or biscuits.Recipe categories: Low protein, Main dish, Low Carb.
