  • eggs - 4 item
  • milk - 1 c
  • water - 1 c
  • confectioners sugar - 1 item
  • all-purpose flour - 1 c
  • margarine - 1/2 c
  • chilled whipping cream - 2 c
  • Heat water and margarine to rolling boil

How to make cream puffs:

Heat oven to 400°. Heat water and margarine to rolling boil. Stir in flour. Stir vigorously over low heat about 1 minute or until mixture forms a ball. Remove from heat.

Beat in eggs and continue beating until smooth. Drop dough by scant 1/4 cupfuls, 3-inches apart, onto ungreased baking pan. Bake 35 to 40 minutes or until puffed and golden. Cool. Cut off tops. Pull out any filaments of soft dough. Carefully fill puffs. Replace tops. Dust with sugar. Refrigerate.Pudding Cream Filling:1 pkg. vanilla instant pudding1 c. milk2 c. chilled whipping cream In a small bowl blend vanilla instant pudding and milk on low speed. Add chilled whipping cream. Beat 2 minutes on medium speed or until peaks form. Yields 12 puffs. Fill cream puffs.
