  • milk - 1 2
  • flour - 3 Tbsp
  • salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
  • grease from frying chicken, steak or ham - 1 item

How to make cream gravy:

After frying meat, remove all grease except about 1/3 cup leaving it and the drippings in skillet. Add flour, stirring to prevent lumping. Cook on medium-low heat until light brown. Add milk, depending on the thickness desired. Stir continually to avoid lumping. Season to taste.
