Cranberry punch
Ingredients/Components
- firm cranberries - 2 c
- water - 2 c
- sugar - 3/4 c
- lemon juice - 1 Tbsp
- chilled pineapple juice - 2 c
- chilled orange juice - 1/2 c
How to make cranberry punch:
Wash and sort cranberries. Put into saucepan with 2 cups water. Cook over low heat until cranberry skins pop, about 5 minutes. Remove from heat. Force cranberries through sifter. Stir until it purees. Add 3/4 cups of sugar and 1 tablespoon lemon juice. Return to heat and bring to boil, cooking about 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Cool and chill thoroughly in refrigerator. Remove from refrigerator and add 2 cups chilled pineapple juice and 1/2 cup chilled orange juice.
