Ingredients/Components
- salt
- pepper - 1/8 tsp
- chopped green pepper - 1/4 c
- finely chopped onion - 1/4 c
- slices bacon, cut up - 6 item
- cooked rice 1 c - 3 c
- cooked tomatoes 1 lb - 2 c
How to make spanish rice:
In a large skillet cook bacon until crisp. Remove from skillet, draining off most of fat. Add onion and green peppers to bacon fat. Cook over medium heat until onion is yellow. Add bacon and remaining ingredients. Cook uncovered over low heat about 15 minutes. Add 1 small can drained tiny peas. Good with pork chops.Recipe categories: Low protein, Low fat, Side dish.
