Cranberry conserve
Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- water - 1 c
- chopped walnuts - 1/2 c
- fresh cranberries - 1 lb
- peeled and diced apples - 2 c
- peeled and diced orange - 1 c
- golden seedless raisins - 1/2 c
How to make cranberry conserve:
Place cranberries in large pan with water. Bring to a boil and simmer 5 minutes until berries pop. Add remaining ingredients, except nuts. Cook about 30 minutes or until thick. Stir occasionally. Remove from heat. Add nuts. Pour into hot sterilized jars. Makes 3 pints.Recipe categories: Pineapple, Condiments, etc., Jams and preserves.
