Ingredients/Components
- Salt and Pepper to taste - 1 item
- Butter or Margarine - 1/2 c
- Water - 1/2 c
- thick - 8 large
- large Onion, chopped - 1 item
- Bell Pepper, diced - 1 item
How to make country potatoes:
In a large iron skillet, melt the butter. Add a layer of sliced potatoes, onions and pepper. Salt and pepper to taste. Repeat layers until all vegetables are in the skillet. Add water. Cover and cook over medium heat for 35 min. To serve, drain off any liquid left. Turn out onto platter and garnish with paprika, if desired.
