- ground beef - 1 lb
- onion, chopped - 1/4 c
- pepper - 1/2 tsp
- cornbread mix - 1 pkg
- can whole kernel corn, drained - 1 oz
- can Ranch Style beans, drained - 1 oz
- 5 oz
How to make corn pone pie:
Brown ground beef and onion in skillet until meat crumbles. Drain well. Stir in corn, beans, tomatoes and pepper. Cook over medium heat until thoroughly heated. Pour into an 11 x 7 x 1 1/2-inch baking dish. Set aside. Mix cornbread according to package directions and pour over mixture.
