  • salt - 1/8 tsp
  • oil - 1 item
  • baking powder - 1 tsp
  • all-purpose flour - 1 c
  • eggs, well beaten - 2 item
  • sugar optional - 1/4 c
  • cream-style corn - 1 c

How to make corn fritters:

Combine flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Stir in eggs and corn, mixing well. Fry in oil. Drop batter by teaspoonfuls. Fry until golden brown. Drain on paper towels. Good served with maple syrup. Makes about 2 dozen.
