  • sugar - 1/3 c
  • vinegar - 1 c
  • salad oil - 1/3 c
  • Worcestershire sauce - 1 tsp
  • prepared mustard - 1 tsp
  • thinly sliced onions - 1 c
  • green pepper, thinly sliced - 1 c
  • Sauce:1 can tomato soup
  • sliced carrots, cooked until tender-crisp - 2 lb

How to make copper pennies:

Sauce:1 can tomato soup1 tsp. prepared mustard1 c. vinegar1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce1/3 c. sugar1/3 c. salad oil Mix vegetables together. Mix sauce ingredients together. Pour sauce over vegetables. Refrigerate for 24 hours. Stir occasionally. It will keep for 7 to 10 days. Serves 12.
