- flour - 2 c
- baking powder - 1/2 tsp
- pinch of salt - 1 item
- margarine - 2/3 c
- bag chocolate chips - 1 (6
- nuts optional - 1 c
- box brown sugar - 1 item
How to make congo squares:
Melt margarine and mix with brown sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, and beat; add vanilla. Add flour gradually, mixing well (batter is stiff). Add chocolate chips and nuts. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes in a 9 x 13-inch pan. Cool and cut.Recipe categories: Cookie and brownie, Bar cookie, Brownies.
