Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 1/2 c
  • flour
  • whipping cream - 1/2 pt
  • hot water - 3 c
  • egg, beaten - 1 item
  • pineapple juice - 1 c
  • mini marshmallows
  • bananas, cubed - 3 item
  • sharp shredded Cheddar cheese - 1 item
  • large lemon Jell-O - 1 item
  • No 2 can pineapple, crushed and drained reserve liquid - 1 item

How to make company salad:

Dissolve Jell-O in hot water; cool and let almost set. Add crushed pineapple, marshmallows and bananas. Put in 9 x 13-inch pan. Heat pineapple juice. Add sugar, flour and beaten egg. Cook until thick; let cool, then fold in whipped cream. Spread over Jell-O mixture. Sprinkle shredded cheese over all. Chill and serve.
