Ingredients/Components

• eggs - 4 item
• pkg - 1 oz
• cola - 10 oz
• instant vanilla pudding mix - 1 serving
• carton powdered sugar - 1 oz
• butter, yellow or golden cake mix - 1 layer
• each: flaked coconut, chopped pecans and vegetable oil - 1 c
• In the bowl of an electric mixer, combine cake mix, coconut, pecans, oil, cola and eggs; mix well

How to make coke cake:

Preheat oven to 350°. In the bowl of an electric mixer, combine cake mix, coconut, pecans, oil, cola and eggs; mix well. Pour batter into well-greased Bundt pan. Bake 50 to 60 minutes, or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Remove cake from pan and let cool completely on rack. When cool, frost cake with Cream Cheese Icing.Cream Cheese Icing:1/2 c. (1 stick) butter1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese (can use light)1 (16 oz.) carton powdered sugar In a small bowl of electric mixer, cream butter, cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth and fluffy. Use as directed.

For the cola in your cake, use the flavor you like best: Dr. Pepper, orange or root beer. We like strawberry the best.

As for the icing recipe, I found this recipe makes too much to suit us, so I use the lazy way and buy a can of cream cheese icing.
