Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- eggs - 8 item
- vanilla - 1/2 tsp
- sticks margarine - 2 item
- plain flour - 3 c
- Crisco - 1 c
- cream of tartar - 1/4 tsp
- butternut flavoring - 1/2 tsp
- can coconut Angel Flake - 1 item
How to make coconut pound cake:
Cream Crisco, margarine and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time. Sift flour and cream of tartar together. Add to cake with flavorings. Fold in coconut with a spoon. Cook in cold oven at 325° for 1 1/2 hours.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Lunch/snacks.
