  • sugar
  • eggs - 8 item
  • vanilla - 1/2 tsp
  • sticks margarine - 2 item
  • plain flour - 3 c
  • Crisco - 1 c
  • cream of tartar - 1/4 tsp
  • butternut flavoring - 1/2 tsp
  • can coconut Angel Flake - 1 item

How to make coconut pound cake:

Cream Crisco, margarine and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time. Sift flour and cream of tartar together. Add to cake with flavorings. Fold in coconut with a spoon. Cook in cold oven at 325° for 1 1/2 hours.
