Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 3 c
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • sour cream - 8 oz
  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • flour - 3 c
  • soda - 1/4 tsp
  • sticks butter - 3 item
  • can coconut - 1 item
  • eggs room temperature - 6 item

How to make coconut pound cake:

Cream butter and sugar, add eggs one at a time (have eggs at room temperature). Sift flour, salt and soda. Add sour cream. Add vanilla and coconut. Bake in tube pan at 325° for 1 1/2 hours or 1 hour and 15 minutes.
