Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3/4 c
- vanilla - 1/2 tsp
- salt - 1/8 tsp
- flour - 1/3 c
- coconut - 1/2 c
- margarine - 2 Tbsp
- milk, scalded - 2 c
- egg yolks save whites - 3 item
How to make coconut cream pie:
Combine margarine, sugar, salt, flour and egg yolks. Add milk slowly, stirring constantly. Cook over hot water until thick and smooth. Add vanilla and coconut. Pour into baked crust. Cover with meringue; put in oven and brown.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
