Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- pkg - 2 oz
- Cool Whip
- box sour cream - 1 oz
- Duncan Hines butter cake mix - 1 pkg
How to make coconut cake:
Prepare cake mix according to directions, making 2 layers. Cool and slice layers to make 4 layers.Mix coconut, sugar and sour cream; reserve 1 cup of mixture for later. Spread between layers. Add Cool Whip with the cup of coconut mixture you saved; spread on top and sides of cake. Cover tightly and store in refrigerator for 3 days before serving.
