Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1/2 tsp
- brown sugar - 4 Tbsp
- coconut - 1 c
- eggs, beaten - 2 item
- baking powder - 1/2 tsp
- sifted flour - 1 c
- pecans - 1 c
- soft butter or oleo - 1/2 c
How to make coconut brownies:
Mix the first 3 ingredients (butter, flour and 4 tablespoons brown sugar). Bake in a 9-inch square pan in a 375° oven for 20 minutes. Mix other ingredients, adding each in the order listed. Spread this on top of first mixture; bake again for a half hour. Makes 2 dozen.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cookie and brownie, Bar cookie.
