Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 2 item
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- juice of 1 lemon
- small onion, minced - 1 item
- ground chuck - 2 lb
- bottle Heinz chili sauce - 1 item
- ginger optional - 1/2 tsp
- soda crackers, soak in warm water and squeeze - 8 item
- jar Welch grape jelly - 1/2 item
How to make cocktail meatballs:
Mix first 5 ingredients and shape into balls (small). Mix remaining ingredients and melt over medium heat. Put raw meatballs into hot sauce. Cook 30 to 40 minutes. Refrigerate and reheat before serving. Tastes best when made a day ahead and reheated. Makes approximately 72.Recipe categories: Appetizers, Ground beef, Beef.
