Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3/4 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- eggs, beaten - 2 item
- margarine - 1/3 c
- can fruit cocktail, undrained - 1 item
- Sprinkle 1/2 cup brown sugar and 1/2 cup chopped nuts on top
How to make cocktail cake:
Mix ingredients as given and pour into 13 x 9-inch greased pan. Sprinkle 1/2 cup brown sugar and 1/2 cup chopped nuts on top. Bake at 350° for 35 minutes. While warm, frost with Icing.Icing:1/2 c. canned milk3/4 c. sugar1/3 c. margarine1 tsp. vanilla Boil for 1 minute and pour on top of cake.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Low fat.
