Classic potato salad
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- cider vinegar - 2 Tbsp
- Crisco oil - 3 Tbsp
- pepper - 1/8 tsp
- snipped fresh parsley - 2 Tbsp
- chopped onion - 1/3 c
- chopped celery - 1/3 c
- prepared mustard - 2 tsp
- mayonnaise - 1/4 c
- hard-cooked eggs, chopped - 2 item
- freeze-dried chives - 1 tsp
How to make classic potato salad:
Cook potatoes until tender. Drain. Cool slightly. Peel and slice potatoes. Place in medium serving bowl. Combine Crisco oil, vinegar, chives, sugar, salt and pepper in small bowl. Stir until blended. Pour over potatoes. Cover. Refrigerate about 2Recipe categories: Salads, Side dish, Potato.
