Cinnamon sour cream coffee cake
Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- soda - 1/2 tsp
- baking powder
- sifted flour - 2 c
- 1 c - 1/2 pt
- butter room temperature - 1 c
- finely chopped walnuts combined with 1 tsp - 3/4 c
How to make cinnamon sour cream coffee cake:
Combine butter, sugar and eggs. Beat until mixture is light and fluffy. Blend in sour cream. Sift flour with soda and baking powder into the creamed mixture. Add vanilla and blend.Spoon 1/2 batter in 9-inch tube pan which has been buttered and floured. Sprinkle in cinnamon-nut mixture over batter. Spoon the remaining batter in and top with the rest of nut mixture. Place in cold oven. Set oven to moderate 350°and bake about 55 minutes. Serve warm or cool. Makes 8 to 10 servings.
