Sweet potato biscuits
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/4 1/2
- shortening - 3 Tbsp
- self-rising flour - 2 c
- egg, beaten - 1 item
- softened margarine - 2 Tbsp
- cooled, mashed sweet potatoes - 1 c
How to make sweet potato biscuits:
Bake or boil potatoes. Peel, cool and mash potatoes. Mix all ingredients; work in the flour. Roll out and cut or pat out biscuits to desired size. Place on greased pan. Bake at 350° for 20 minutes.Recipe categories: Breads, Potato, Rolls/biscuits.
