Cinnamon carrots
Ingredients/Components
- margarine - 2 Tbsp
- ground cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
- pepper - 1/8 tsp
- parsley - 2 Tbsp
- pinch of nutmeg - 1 item
- large carrots, cut into thin slices - 8 item
- apple juice or white wine or white grape juice - 2 Tbsp
How to make cinnamon carrots:
Cook carrots in boiling water 10 minutes. Drain. Melt margarine in skillet. Heat carrots and parsley thoroughly. Sprinkle with remaining ingredients. Stir and cook 1 additional minute. Serves 4.Recipe categories: Low protein, Vegetables, Carrots.
