Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/4 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- eggs, beaten - 3 item
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- walnuts - 1 c
- candied cherries - 1/4 lb
- candied pineapple - 1/4 lb
- water or juice - 1/4 c
- Brazil nuts - 1 lb
- dates, chunked or raisins - 1 lb
How to make christmas cake:
This is not a traditional fruitcake! Even people who hate fruitcake love this one.Mix liquids; add dry ingredients and mix well. Add fruit and nuts. Bake at 325° at least an hour in a greased and floured angel food cake pan. Test with a toothpick.
