  • strong coffee - 1/2 c
  • carton Cool Whip, thawed - 1 oz

How to make chocolate trifle:

Bake cake according to package directions; cool. Prepare pudding according to package directions; set aside. Crumble cake; reserve 1/2 cup. Place half of remaining cake crumbs in the bottom of a 5-quart trifle dish. Layer with half of the coffee, half of the pudding, half of the Cool Whip and half of the crushed candy bars. Repeat all the layers again of cake, coffee, pudding and Cool Whip. Combine remaining crushed candy bars with reserved cookie crumbs and sprinkle over top. Refrigerate 4 to 5 hours before serving. Yield: 8 to 10 servings.
