Chocolate sheet cake
Ingredients/Components
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1 c
- water - 1 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- cocoa - 1/2 c
- confectioners sugar - 1 c
- margarine or butter
- brown sugar, packed
- flour, unsifted - 2 c
- can Eagle Brand milk - 1 oz
How to make chocolate sheet cake:
Melt 1 cup margarine; stir in 1/4 cup cocoa. Add water; bring to a boil. Remove from heat. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, brown sugar, soda, cinnamon and salt. Add cocoa mixture to dry mix and beat well; add 1/3 cup Eagle Brand milk, eggs and vanilla. Pour into greased 15 x 10-inch jellyroll pan (cookie sheet). Bake at 350° for 15 minutes, until cake springs back when touched.Melt 1/4 cup margarine; stir in 1/4 cocoa and rest of Eagle Brand milk. Add confectioners sugar and nuts. Spread over warm cake. Makes about 40 pieces. Yummy!!
