- sugar - 2 c
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1/2 c
- stick margarine - 1 item
- water - 1 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- cocoa - 3 Tbsp
- buttermilk - 1/2 c
- dash of salt - 1 item
- plain flour - 2 c
- Crisco oil - 1/2 c
- canned milk - 6 Tbsp
- box 10x sugar - 1 item
- Frosting:1 stick margarine
How to make chocolate sheet cake:
Frosting:1 stick margarine6 Tbsp. canned milk3 Tbsp. cocoa dash of salt1 box 10x sugar1/2 c. chopped nuts1 tsp. vanilla Mix together eggs, sugar, buttermilk, flour, soda, salt and vanilla. Bring to a boil the margarine, oil, water and cocoa. Pour the boiled mixture into the first mixture and mix well. Pour into a greased and floured 9 x 13 x 2-inch pan and bake at 350° for 30 or 40 minutes, until done.Mix together first 4 ingredients for frosting. Bring this mixture to a boil. Add 10x sugar, nuts and vanilla flavoring. Pour over cake while still warm.
