  • sugar - 1 c
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • pkg - 2 oz
  • coconut - 1 c
  • margarine - 1 c
  • semi-sweet chocolate squares - 6 (1
  • chopped unsalted peanuts - 1/2 c

How to make chocolate peanut squares:

Microwave 3/4 cup margarine with 2 squares chocolate 1 to 2 minutes or until melted when stirred. Stir in crumbs, coconut and peanuts. Press into 13 x 9-inch pan; chill 30 minutes.

Mix together cream cheese, sugar and vanilla until well blended. Spread over crust; chill 30 minutes.

Microwave remaining margarine and chocolate 1 to 2 minutes or until melted. Spread over cream cheese layer; chill. Cut into bars. Makes 4 dozen.
