Chocolate mint brownies
Ingredients/Components
- butter, softened - 1/2 c
- sugar - 1 c
- eggs - 4 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- pkg
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 1 c
- butter - 9 Tbsp
- water - 1 Tbsp
- confectioners sugar
- drops green food coloring - 3 item
- mint extract - 1/2 tsp
- can chocolate flavored syrup - 1 oz
How to make chocolate mint brownies:
Filling:2 c. confectioners sugar1/2 c. butter, softened1 Tbsp. water1/2 tsp. mint extract3 drops green food coloring Topping:1 (10 oz.) pkg. mint chocolate chips9 Tbsp. butter Combine the first 7 ingredients in a large bowl; beat at medium speed for 3 minutes. Pour batter into a greased 13 x 9-inch baking pan. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes (top of brownies will still appear wet). Cool.Combine filling ingredients in a medium bowl; beat until creamy. Spread over brownies. Refrigerate until set.
For topping, melt chocolate chips and butter over low heat in a small saucepan. Let cool for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Spread over filling. Chill.
