Chocolate fudge pudding cake
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2/3 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- chopped pecans - 1/2 c
- milk - 1/2 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 1 c
- brown sugar - 1 c
- cocoa - 6 Tbsp
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- melted butter - 2 Tbsp
- boiling water
How to make chocolate fudge pudding cake:
Mix flour, powder, salt, sugar and 2 tablespoons cocoa. Add milk, butter and vanilla; mix until smooth. Add pecans. Put into greased shallow 1 1/2-quart baking dish. Mix brown sugar and remaining 4 tablespoons cocoa; sprinkle over mixture in dish. Pour 1 1/2 cups boiling water on top. Do not mix; leave in layers. Bake for 40 minutes at 350°. Serve warm or cold with vanilla ice cream. When done, it will have chocolate cake on top and chocolate fudge pudding on the bottom.Recipe categories: Desserts, Puddings and mousses, Egg.
