Ingredients/Components

  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • chopped pecans - 1/2 c
  • milk - 1/2 c
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • cocoa - 6 Tbsp
  • baking powder - 2 tsp
  • boiling water - 2 c
  • brown sugar, packed - 1 c
  • white sugar - 2/3 c
  • sifted all-purpose flour - 1 c
  • Wesson oil - 2 Tbsp

How to make chocolate fudge pudding:

Sift flour, baking powder, salt, white sugar and 2 tablespoons cocoa. Add milk, Wesson oil and vanilla, mixing only until smooth. Add pecans. Pour into greased shallow baking dish (1 1/2-quart). Mix brown sugar and remaining 4 tablespoons cocoa; sprinkle over mixture in baking dish. Pour boiling water over the top. Bake for 40 minutes at 350°. When baked, has chocolate sauce on bottom and cake on top.
