  • sugar - 2 c
  • eggs - 2 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • sour cream - 1/2 c
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • butter - 8 Tbsp
  • cocoa - 1/2 c
  • baking soda
  • boiling water - 1 c
  • sifted flour - 2 c

How to make chocolate fudge cake:

Mix cocoa with boiling water. Add butter, stir until dissolved; cool mixture. Sift flour, sugar, baking soda and salt. Mix these ingredients slowly into cocoa mixture then add eggs one at a time, beating well. Add sour cream and vanilla. Pour mixture into greased and floured 9-inch Bundt pan. Bake 35 to 40 minutes at 350°. Whip 1 pint whipping cream in bowl. Add a little powdered sugar to taste and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla. Makes a very light frosting.
