Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- sour cream - 1/2 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- butter - 8 Tbsp
- cocoa - 1/2 c
- baking soda
- boiling water - 1 c
- sifted flour - 2 c
How to make chocolate fudge cake:
Mix cocoa with boiling water. Add butter, stir until dissolved; cool mixture. Sift flour, sugar, baking soda and salt. Mix these ingredients slowly into cocoa mixture then add eggs one at a time, beating well. Add sour cream and vanilla. Pour mixture into greased and floured 9-inch Bundt pan. Bake 35 to 40 minutes at 350°. Whip 1 pint whipping cream in bowl. Add a little powdered sugar to taste and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla.
