Chocolate covered cherries
Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 2 oz
- confectioners sugar - 2 lb
- can sweetened condensed milk - 1 oz
- bar paraffin wax - 1/4 item
- jars cherries with stems - 2 oz
How to make chocolate covered cherries:
Drain cherries; pat dry with paper towel. Combine sugar and milk; mixture will be stiff. Take 1 teaspoon mixture in palm of hand and wrap around cherry. Put on cookie sheet. If sugar mixture becomes too dry, add a little hot water. After all cherries are covered, put in refrigerator overnight.Chocolate Coating: Melt chocolate chips and paraffin wax; stir occasionally. Dip cherry in mixture. Let stand on wax paper. Refrigerate. Makes 5 dozen.
