butter, softened - 1 c
sugar - 3/4 c
eggs - 2 item
vanilla - 2 tsp
salt - 1/2 tsp
chopped nuts - 1 c
flour - 3 c
brown sugar - 3/4 c
coconut - 1 c
baking soda - 1 tsp
chocolate chips - 2 c

How to make chocolate chip cookies:

Mix together softened butter and both sugars; beat well. Add vanilla and eggs; beat well. Add flour, soda and salt; mix well. Stir in chocolate chips, nuts and coconut.

Drop by teaspoons on a greased cookie sheet. Bake for 12 minutes at 375°. Check first batch for cooking time as ovens vary.
