Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 3/4 c
  • pkg - 1 oz
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • flour
  • brown sugar - 3/4 c
  • baking soda - 1 tsp
  • egg - 1 item
  • oleo, softened - 1 c

How to make chocolate chip bars:

Mix together all of above; batter will be stiff. Stir in chocolate chips. Press dough into a 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake at 375° until golden brown (about 25 minutes). Cool. Cut into bars.
