Coconut chews

Ingredients/Components

• chopped nuts - 1 c
• brown sugar - 1 c
• shredded coconut - 1 c
• light corn syrup - 1 c
• light cream - 1/2 c
• corn flakes - 4 c

How to make coconut chews:

Combine sugar, syrup and cream in saucepan. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until sugar is dissolved. Continue cooking without stirring to soft ball stage. Remove from heat; fold in corn flakes, coconut and nuts. Press into buttered pan.
