- sour cream - 1/2 c
- melted butter - 5 Tbsp
- large eggs - 5 item
- chocolate wafer crumbs - 2 c
- semi-sweet chocolate, melted - 2 oz
How to make chocolate cheesecake:
Filling:3 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened1 c. granulated sugar5 large eggs2 oz. semi-sweet chocolate, melted Frosting:6 oz. semi-sweet chocolate, melted1/2 c. sour cream Crust: In medium bowl, mix together the chocolate crumbs and melted butter until well blended. Press into a 9-inch spring-form pan. Preheat oven to 300°.Filling: In a large bowl, beat together the cream cheese, sugar and eggs at medium speed until smooth and fluffy. Spoon half of cheese mixture into crust. Stir chocolate into remaining cheese mixture until well blended. Drizzle over batter in crust to make swirls. Bake for 50 minutes. Cool completely. Transfer to serving plate. Cover with plastic wrap. Chill for 2 hours.
Frosting: In small bowl, mix chocolate and sour cream. Spread on cheesecake. Chill briefly until frosting is set.
