Chocolate cake

Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 2 c
• eggs - 2 item
• vanilla - 1 tsp
• milk
• salt - 1/8 tsp
• flour
• butter - 1/4 c
• baking powder - 3/4 tsp
• baking soda - 3/4 tsp
• shortening - 1/4 c
• baking cocoa - 3/4 c

How to make chocolate cake:

Grease and flour 9 x 13-inch pan. Cream butter, shortening, sugar and vanilla until fluffy; blend in eggs. Combine cocoa, flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt in bowl; add alternately with milk to batter. Blend well. Pour into pan. Bake at 350° for 35 to 40 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. Cool and frost as desired.
